So let me start by saying this was a friendly match, it was a ton of fun, and it went to the final blows. So before the comments fly about Drop off being banned, we know. After seeing it in action, we understand why it is banned. With that said, lets get under way.
Turn 1: (Avengers have first turn) I setup in the middle of the table as the three objects were setup in the middle of the table across the center line. Josef setup in the North West Corner with all of his characters. I move Ultron to right side objective and tried to identify the objective as almost a joke. Lo and behold I found the Skrull on the first try and we were a little shocked. With the Skrull being identified so quick and Josef on opposites sides he changed his tactics quit quickly or else I was scoring 4 points a turn without trying. The other Objective was also under the Skrull so I was sitting pretty just on the first move of the game. I piled on my Avengers and Josef took advantage of the other open objective on the opposite side. He sent Wolverine, Hawkeye and Miles at my squad. Wong was in the back left passing out energy like a boss. Cap, Hulk and Ultron took a stun and damage from the objective.
Turn 2: So I saw the chance to jump his smaller characters played avengers assemble. Iron man, Hulk and Cap all went forward small. Then Iron man picked up cap with drop off and carried him to the bushes. Cap took his attack from drop off and missed miles by a mile. Ironman also missed. Hawkeye shot at Hulk for six damage, assigned shock and hook arrowed away. Hulk removed stun, gamma leaps next to Miles and hits him for 2. Miles double moves near Ultron to capture one of the objectives. Cap threw his shield twice at Wolverine for 1 damage. Wolverine jumps and attacks Hulk and misses but then slashes him for 3 damage. Ultron tries to daze Miles and misses twice. Wong moved to stay with the left objective and Dr. Strange moves to start attacking. At the end of turn 2 I go up to 6 VP and Josef gets 4.
Turn 3: Hulk goes first at Hawkeye. Gamma leaps and does 4 damage dazing him. Then removes his stun. Wolverine lunges at Hulk and once again blanks out, but then does three damage to hulk with his second attack. Ultron tries at Miles again and Metallic Furies him for 3 damage. Miles also is now dazed Ultron removes the stunned condition. Dr. Strange does what he does best to heal Miles with field dressing, Bolts at Ultron for damage and pushes Ultron. Cap moves back to Ultron. Newly revived Miles attacks Ultron, but Cap protects and takes three damage. Miles tries at Ultron again and Cap uses sacrifice and is dazed. Iron man jumps in the back of a truck and uses Ricochet Blast to daze Miles again. End of the round I go to 8 VP points and Josef moves to 6.
Turn 4: Hulk Gamma leaps over Hawk Eye and turns him into pink mist with 9 damage. Then runs away to the top left corner. Wolverine dives at Iron man and does 2 damage. He then threw Ironman into Cap for 2 damage. Ironman Homing rockets\Friday night AI for three damage then moves to a better position behind cap. Dr. Strange shot cap for 0 damage but gives him an activate token. Dr. Strange boosts his Bolts at Ironman but Cap protects. Cap blocks the damage. Ultron goes into miles once again but blanks out on both attacks. Miles tries at Ultron again but Cap protects twice and is taken out. Wong stays put and gets the objective. I go to 12 VP points and Josef to 8.
Turn 5: Ultron shoots at Dr. Strange twice and does 2 damage. Wolverine charges Ironman for 1 damage and dazes him. Then Dazes Ultron as well and picks up the objective. Hulk leaps back into the fight and parks next to Wong. Strange heals up and takes away his bleed. Then moves behind the Truck. Wong tries to KO the Hulk and Leaves him on 2 health. Miles moves into a new position next to Dr Strange and Josef gain 4 VP points making it 12-12.
Turn 6: Hulk decides to remove Wong from existence or just daze him with 14 dice. Dr. Strange Beam attacks Ironman for four damage and Ultron for 4 damage. Then he KOs Ironman with his normal attack. Ultron Throws the truck at Wolverine for 2 and three damage from energy blast. He picks up the Skrull and Ultron picks it up. Miles only does one damage to Ultron and I gain the win with 16 -14 VP.
Things we missed and got wrong. I forgot second attacks with Hulk and Ultron during the match. I forgot the Avengers ability half the time and I didn't read Ultron ability for ANA. Josef forgot Wolverines Talent card to allow him to take 1 damage and not drop the objective, but I still had one more attack anyways. We forgot a lot of other stuff, but one heck of a match.
